Junior Concert

Brunswick School of Dance Online

Staged in November at the Darebin Arts Centre (theatre) our Junior Concert involves students aged 3 - 8 yrs (approx). Each year we select a well known children's story and present it through dance. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable experience for both students and parents alike, and so the concert is short in length (1 hour) and there is only 1 performance for 3-6 year old and 2 performances for 6 and over. Costumes are a vital part of the Concert and are paid for by parents (expect approx. $100 each). They are professionally made and are kept by students after the Concert.

Dance Soiree

Keen and dedicated students may wish to prepare a solo, duo or trio piece to perform in our annual dance Soiree at Northcote Town Hall. This event comprises family and friends gathered to observe and celebrates student's achievements. The venue is elegant and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The dance piece may also be entered into a local competition if wished. Additional private lessons are required and dances are custom choreographed by our teachers. Specially made costumes are required and teachers are only too happy to assist with the design and organisation of these.
