OUR DANCE TEACHERS
JOSEPHINE WOODBERRY RAD RTS
Founder & Director
I established Brunswick School of Dance (BSOD) in 1997. The original mission was to share my passion for dance while offering quality tuition for children. My goal was to find contemporary, nurturing teaching methods to communicate traditional dance techniques. Twenty years later, now with a team of like-minded teachers, this mantra holds true and has come to fruition with ever increasing student successes of which I am immensely proud.
I completed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Certificate of Ballet Teaching and I am a registered teacher with them. I have over 20 years experience training young dancers, preparing students for examinations at all levels, choreographing competition and performance pieces, devising and producing large scale concerts and co-ordinating learning programs within the school.

Fabiana completed formal professional dance training in 1999, obtaining a Diploma of Arts-Classical Dance with the prestigious National Theatre Ballet School, then later obtaining a formal teaching qualification through the Royal Academy of Dance.
Early in her career, Fabiana worked with children in Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, exploring Aboriginal ancestry and connecting this knowledge with dance choreography to a piece of music by Yothu Yindi. This ignited a desire to compliment my Ballet training with the dance of my own traditional roots in Brazil.
The vast experience of teaching and performing dance throughout Brazil and Australia, has given me the gift of being able to create diverse dance styles to rich musical rhythms. I find myself continually inspired to explore dance as a medium to enrich lives and bring joy and connection.
