Classical Extensions Program
Brunswick School of Dance is proud to introduce the Classical Extensions Program for talented & dedicated young dancers between the ages of 9-13 years.
The Classical Extensions Program is designed for students seeking to train towards an elite standard of classical ballet, utilising the Russian/Vaganova method found in the syllabus of Australian Conservatoire of Ballet.
The Classical Extensions Program areas of focus:
• ballet foundations
• technical skills
• artistic development
• conditioning & flexibility
• ballet vocabulary
• performance/competition opportunities
Entry to the Classical Extensions Program is by teacher recommendation/invitation.
Carol Pais is the instructor of the Classical Extensions Program. Carol holds a Diploma of Classical Ballet (Australian Ballet School), is a certified teacher of the ACB syllabus and has extensive experience teaching the Russian/Vaganova method. Masterclasses with professional guest teachers will be offered throughout the year.
In 2020 the Program will run on Friday afternoon during school terms.
4:15-5:15pm Technique Class
6:00pm Private Coaching will be available (Optional)
Classical Extensions Program students are required to maintain a minimum two weekly ballet classes at their RAD Grade/Vocational level, while continuing to work towards RAD examinations.
Fees for the Classical Extensions Program are per the 2020 Fee Schedule. Additional costs apply for private coaching, performances & competitions.
