Special Guest Teachers -

Carolina Pais


Carolina was born in her native Brazil where she began dancing at a young age. During her forming years, Carolina performed at some of the most well known competitions including the Prix de Lausanne and was invited to perform in the Youth America Grand Prix.
Carolina was soon noticed by The Australian Ballet School and was offered a scholarship in 2010 to attend for her remaining training years.
In 2013, Carolina successfully received her Graduate Diploma in Classical Ballet from The Australian Ballet School and finished her year working within The Dancers Company. Following her graduation, Carolina moved back to her home Brazil to accept a contract with Sao Paulo Dance Company for 2014 - 2015.
Carol joined Melbourne City Ballet as an Emerging Artist in 2015 before being promoted to Junior Artist as of 2016. In 2016/17 Carolina appeared in many soloist and principal roles including "Dracula", "Romeo & Juliet", "Madame Butterfly" “Don Quixote”, “Nutcracker” and "Napoli". As of January 2017, Carolina was promoted to Company Artist with Melbourne City Ballet.

Olivia Paine


Originating from the NSW North Coast, Olivia started dancing with Karen Ireland Dance Centre, Lismore. Olivia showed promise at a very young age, competing and winning at Sydney Eisteddfod and also at the Alana Haines Awards in 2007 where she was both a finalist and scholarship recipient. Olivia became an ITP with the Australian Ballet School at age 10 and was offered a place in the full time school at age 13.
Olivia began her full time training with the Australian Ballet School in 2009 in level 4. During her studies, Olivia was the recipient of the Australian Ballet School Scholarship of Excellence (Level 7), represented The Australian Ballet School on exchange to Canada's National Ballet School and performed with the Australian Ballet Dancer’s Company in 2013.In 2014, Olivia received the prestigious Martin Bequest Scholarship for Ballet. Following graduation, Olivia was fortunate enough to travel and perform across Europe before returning to her NSW North Coast home, where she taught at her childhood ballet school for 18 months. Olivia was recently a company artist with Melbourne City Ballet as well as currently teaching for a number of Ballet Schools across Melbourne.
